Bula (pronounced 'boola') is a word you hear many times a day in Fiji. It means both, "hello" and “life”, and is always pronounced with a big sunny smile. Fiji is the land of happy people, flashing white teeth, great Fiji hotels, white sandy beaches, gentle relaxation and absolutely zero stress.
The Fiji Islands is made up of 332 jewels of islands most of which are uninhabited. Waitaci Villas is the perfect coastal retreat with a home away from home atmosphere . Waitaci is situated in the heart of the Coral Coast region, on Viti Levu's southern coast, which is a 1 hour drive from Nadi International Airport (NAN).
With affordable private accommodations featuring kitchenette facilities, Waitaci offers you the best way to experience Fiji. Stay in a locally owned retreat and have the flexibility of enjoying your own cooked meals with produce bought from the local market.
There is also a local convenient store and restaurant only a walking distance from Waitaci and you also have the option of dinning at the nearby hotels. The only town in the Coral Coast region, Sigatoka, has convenient stores, boutique shops, restaurants and bars. A visit to the bustling market is a chance not to be missed. Locals travel from the coast, valley and mountain villages to sell their fresh fruits, vegetables, root crops and other produce. This is a wonderful place to learn about the local produce on offer and mingle with the local community.
The region is not noted for its beaches however it has dramatic scenery and some of Fiji’s better historical sites and Waitaci Villas central location allows you to see both the Suva and Nadi sides of Viti Levu, Fiji.
